VIK “A” Cabernet Sauvignon – Millahue, Cachapoal Valley

VIK “A” Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine of character and elegance, born in the terroir of Millahue, Cachapoal Valley. Its distinctive minerality, vibrant acidity and firm yet refined tannins create an intense, balanced and highly persistent expression. A distinctive wine that reflects VIK’s winemaking excellence.

Varietal Composition

  • 87% Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 9% Carmenere
  • 4% Syrah

Key Characteristics

  • Origin: Millahue, Cachapoal Valley.
  • Soil: Deep, porous granitic soils with excellent drainage.
  • Climate: Warm Mediterranean climate with maritime influence that moderates temperatures.
  • Aging: 12–15 months in French oak barrels using the Barroir method.
  • Serving temperature: 15º – 16ºC.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby red in color, with aromas of raspberries, strawberries and blackberries, complemented by spicy nuances and subtle nutty notes that enhance its complexity. On the palate, it is elegant and structured, with a silky texture and refined tannins balanced by vibrant acidity. A wine with great character and a long, enveloping finish.
